WORLD (WIP)

The initial setting for Cain and Lawrie’s story is the city of Montréal in the mid 2010s.

It is a bilingual city with French as the official language, but English is very common. Both characters have English for their first language. They have a good mastery of the French language and use it commonly in their work. They speak in English in private and together.

Lawrie works for a fictional law firm. Their office is downtown in a skyscraper. Cain works for the city police.

They live together in a house in the Westmount neighbourhood. Lawrie also owns a condo downtown.
